The people that own this place are despicable! Very dirty and run down but cheapest around so I've stayed several times. My face became familiar and I proved myself to be a quiet non complaining guest. I came to check in one day and got in the room, showered, brushed my teeth, and noticed the bathroom sink was stopping up and wouldn't drain at all. I went to tell the owner it was stopped up and see if another room was available, so she came to look at the sink. She was extremely angry yelling at me that I myself did something to purposely stop it up! Why would I do that? And how could I be responsible for a plumbing back up 15 minutes into my stay? She said we have other rooms but you are staying here since it's your fault. I checked out the next day leaving everything clean and in the order I received it. I went to stay again a month later and reserved and paid for the room in advance. I took a $50 cab there and was dropped off. When she saw it was me, she said you are never allowed here again and would not give me my prepaid room screaming that it was all my fault that they needed a plumber to unstop their pipes. I asked why she thought I could create a back up like that when pipes naturally clog up on very old buildings after a long period of time. My daughter tried to get a room there today and was told on the phone it would be $65 including taxes and deposit. When she arrived the nasty lady told her she had to pay $100 and proceeded to interrogate her. Saying she was a liar and could not trust her based on her looks. She then followed her to her car and said, I see u have people in the car, you are a liar, you are probably going to have company, therefore shoved her money back at her and told her to never come back, simply because her parents gave her a ride to the room and she couldn't be trusted not to have a guest in the room. This was to be a get away for the night for her only, just to relax. These people are extremely racist and prejudice and make up the policies and fees based on what u look like. They are completely nuts!
