The other positive reviews must be friends or employees. I originally called to request delivery of firewood on 11/23/2016. I left a voice mail and someone called me back to schedule. We set up delivery for 12/1/2016, over a week later. On Monday, 11/28/2016 I called to request changing delivery to 12/2/2016. Again, left a voice mail and someone called me back later that day to confirm. Given the delayed return calls, I should have known at this point. With my new delivery confirmed, we made preparations on our end to receive the wood. I was told that we would be the first stop of the morning. I made sure I was off work to meet and help if need be.
8AM - waiting
9AM - still waiting
9:30AM - call to inquire and was told they could not locate the delivery driver...wow...not my problem, but it became my problem.
10:30AM - had to go to another pre-scheduled meeting - fortunately those people respect other people's time and they were at the meeting
11:30AM - returned home and decided to wait. Still no update on driver, ETA, or anything. No call, voice mail, smoke signal...nothing
Around 2:00PM I call again. Voice mail...not surprising. I left a voice mail and requested that someone, ANYONE, call me to give me an update. Nothing. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION THAT TURNED INTO NON-EXISTENT COMMUNICATION. AND ABOVE ALL I HAD TO TAKE A PERSONAL DAY AT WORK BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE DON'T RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S TIME AND THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS. IF THEY DIDN'T WANT MY BUSINESS, THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT UP FRONT. MY GUESS IS THEIR PRODUCT IS MUCH LIKE THEIR SERVICE SO I'M BETTER FOR IT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS OUT THERE FOR FIREWOOD AND TREE SERVICE. MY DETAILED RANT FOR THE DAY THAT I HOPE SOMEONE BENEFITS FROM. I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY AND HAD FIREWOOD THE NEXT DAY.
