Went shopping for a late Christmas present. The employee asked if I was looking for anything and I replied that I was shopping for a Christmas gift. He then condescendingly said "Oh, for next year?" It felt more like I was shopping for a used car then a high end article of clothing. This store did have a good variety of options, though.
