My husband and I ordered a dryer from Lowes. Our primary reasoning for ordering the dryer from this company was due to the fact that they were providing 1. Next day delivery 2. Free shipping 3. Had the service available to haul away away the old dryer. My husband recently was in an accident and we were relying on these services, as we were unable to pick up the dryer from the store, as we usually would. When we ordered online, we were advised online that they dryer would be delivered the next day, come to find out in the confirmation email, that it would take over a week to be delivered due to it "not being in stock." Although the website specified otherwise, we contacted customer support to confirm it would be arriving the following Monday and decided we could manage waiting. We were advised, in the email and by customer service, that we would have a 12 hour window in which we could expect the dryer to be delivered (8 AM- 8 PM) and would be notified when they were able to close the gap between a 2 hour time frame. My husband took off work for the entire day Monday anticipating the delivery, only to have to call customer service at 6:00 PM that night to find out that our dryer was "in the truck." Thirty more minutes go by, then we receive a voicemail stating that we would have to "reschedule." When we called customer service, again, they said that they delivery drivers did not have our "correct phone numbers" so they went back to the store. We confirmed that we DID have all of the correct contact information, as we were able to receive calls and emails about the original order confirmation AND my husband calling multiple times throughout the day to get updates on the time frame for delivery (as it was never offered as promised once). We were then advised that they would be unable to deliver our dryer anytime soon. Ultimately we ended up just cancelling our purchase and will be attempting to look for a dryer elsewhere. Unfortunately this is not the first time we have had issues purchasing major appliances from this company, every time there is either a delay, miscommunication, or incorrect processing. Although we previously used this company for their "offers," it's not worth the headache and frustration anymore.
